+ first impressions
Appearance: Blue eyes, brown hair, and a sweet smile: Henry is very strong, and was taught how to use the forge at a young age. He wields the strength of a blacksmith and a warrior. Despite looking intimidating at times, he's a big softie so he can be both diplomatic and gallant, but also blend in with a crowd and slip away among the masses. He dresses well, unless he's purposely trying to avoid notice, and carries himself with confidence (unless he's trying not to.) Basically he can adapt to whatever the situation calls for -- an important mechanic in the game.
Voice: Please listen to this idiot. Henry sounds a bit like a yokel at times, speaking directly and avoiding too much superfluous speech. He can get into his Scholarship and start discussing manuscripts, Latin, and even his time in the abbey, and he is an avid reader -- something quite rare for his time, when literacy was largely only found among the clergy or the nobility.
Scent: People don't trust a stinky peasant. Luckily for Henry, his pockets are always filled with dried herbs so he smells vaguely like a field, though the smell of blood and iron clings to him. Henry often ends up covered in blood (his own and his enemy's,) but he actually washes up quite a bit for the time. Bathhouses are dens of ill-repute in his day, but he makes time for them, or launders his own clothes when possible.
Demeanor: Kind and sweet, charming and suave, brutal and terrifying—all of these describe Henry, as he often adapts as needed to find the least violent solutions to his problems. While there's a certain amount of this that is up to player choice, Henry is a man of honor and chivalry—a knight in all but standing. Henry is selfless, and always volunteers to help others before himself, as though he hopes to atone for the fact that he's still alive, when so few others from Skalitz survived the attack. All that said, his anger can spring at a moment's hesitation, and revenge is something he struggles with as the game progresses. Still, Henry is loyal the way a dog is loyal. He will put his life on the line immediately if it helps another person.

+ kcd2 'world state' (SPOILERS)
Decisions: Romanced Hans Capon. Spared and save Kozliek and Mikesh. Helped Radovan and made it to the wedding on a clean conscience. Saved Hans before the twelfth bell. Helped Semine escape before torching it. Slept with Bartosch. Did not sleep with Klara. Did not torture. Killed Istvan honorably. Got jumped by Samuel at sunset. Freed Hans from Maleshov through the front gates. Ratted out the counterfeit silver operation with Christopher of Pisek. (More stuff I'm missing.) Dueled Erik. Killed Brabant. Saved Samuel. Left von Aulitz to die from his injuries. Earned Ma and Pa's respect :D
Gameplay Style: High speech, only killed when talking failed. Focused on Impression, Persuasion, Charisma, with Stealth and Thievery in Kuttenberg
Skills In General: High Houndmaster, Horsemanship, Survival, and Scholarship. Alchemy, Thievery, and Stealth are pretty high, but to a lesser extent. Focused mainly on Swords, with a little Marksmanship but no Heavy weapons/Polearms. Generally stayed on the right side of the law, or at least never got caught. Why get caught when you can just talk your way out of things, anyway?

+ history
Henry is one of the few remaining survivors of Skalitz—the town where he was born, which went down in a blaze as Markvart von Aulitz razed the city to the ground. Henry saw his parents slain before his eyes, and only survived because he fled from the danger at their insistence. Despite being too young and inexperienced to help stop the attack, he still blames himself for running, and is still plagued by nightmares and survivors' guilt. To combat this, Henry takes up the sword in hopes of taking revenge on those that destroyed his home, and stole his father's final masterpiece -- a longsword forged for Radzig Kobyla, the lord of Skalitz.
To complicate matters further, Henry later learned that the man he'd known as his father, Martin, was not actually his father by blood. Instead, Henry turns out to be a nobleman's bastard—not just any nobleman, but the very one who Henry swore as his liege lord. Radzig had loved Henry's mother, but couldn't marry her since she was a commoner. In his place, Martin married Henry's mother, and Radzig watched Henry grow up from a distance, avoiding getting too involved in Henry's life in order to spare them the danger of being a nobleman's bastard son. Too bad Skalitz went up in flames and that kind of didn't matter anymore. Oops.

Physical Affection: yes, Henry is affectionate (as befits his station)
Violence: yes, Henry is violent. he's not murdering the Bohemian countryside, but he will draw steel when needed
Sex: Henry is down for casual sex with women and men. I'mma be real with you I'm very slow at sex threads so if you want to fade to black, let me know.
IC offensive subjects: Istvan Toth. His parents' death. Harming innocent people (or Hans.) Treating anyone as lesser, simply because of their rank.

shipping. I'm interested in exploring Henry's sexuality as a homoromantic bisexual (and all that religious guilt that comes with it.) Not interested in romance outside of male castmates, but he will sleep with women transactionally and respects the hustle. Down to play assumed CR either platonically with women, or romantic with men.
smut. m/m only. I'll be real with you, Henry being the main character means I'll ship him with any of the guys. Hans, Istvan, Erik, Zizka, Samuel... ya boy didn't have a 9 hour sex fade-to-black with Black Bartosch for nothing.
social class. Henry is from medieval Bohemia, and grew up as a peasant in the feudal system. While his station as Capon's page and Radzig's bastard give him a unique place in his heavily stratified society, he tries to balance his own thoughts and morals with the respect and deference he learned to adhere to his entire life. He is a mouthy peasant, but knows when to use his Scholarship skills and show nobles respect (and when he's overstepping.)
language & religion. KC:D II takes place in 1403, when Bohemia was part of the Holy Roman Empire. Henry speaks fluent Czech, understands some German, and only knows enough Latin to pray with. He crosses himself, swears by the Lord, and respects the Saints, says "the Lord be with you," and "Jesus Christ be praised!" He accepts those with differing perspectives and bends the rules as he sees fit, so he's more culturally Catholic than anything else.
